Complaint Review: Conseco Finance

I had my manufactured home on the market for two years. My realtor was of no help to the situation at all, in two years not one offer at all. We parted companies and I went down there to sell the house on my own. The first week I put the home into the papers I got 47 calls, 26 came to look at it and 4 (four) tried to assume the loan one was accepted with conditions. all the conditions were met.

We were waiting for the 20% down from his 401k that was with Fadality bank. About three weeks into the process they (Conseco Finance) started not to answer any phone calls or voice mails. three days befor the 25 day pre approved assumtion was to be finalized. they called me and said they were no longer doing any more assumtions, loans or refinances.

We were not making a new loan just doing an assumtion. Now I'm still stuck with a home witch is now empty of any furnishings I dont live in and pay about a $1000.00 a mo for. Both of my parents ar terminaley ill One with cancer and one with heart failier.

JUst to go down to that house for a month cost around $1500.00 to just try and get someone to assume that loan. In my contract is sayes someware that my loan is assumable. Conseco is in trouble this is do to alttle checking. It doesn't cost anything to complete an assumtion.

The loan is for $47,136.82. I'd like to pick that home up and dump it right on Conseco's door step. I guess my only other option is to go bankrupt. Just add conseco to the Enrons, Author Andersons. They are no differant in the way that they are doing business
