I tried to get my loan modified with Bank of America. After
nearly 10 months, B. of A. put me on a trial-mod that was supposed to be for 3
months. I made 3 payments on time as they requested only to get a letter stating
that my permanent modification had been denied and that I now needed to pay them
over $14,000. or they would begin the foreclosure process. I contacted the
Consolidated Litigation Group and my situation has improved drastically. All of
a sudden B. of A. wants to work something out and their threatening tone has
ceased. I assume they now know that litigation has begun on my behalf. B. of A.
told me to not make any payments while they re-reviewed my modification. My case
has not been settled yet, but it appears there is light at the end of the tunnel
thanks to the litigation process that turned this nightmare all the way around.
Im not sure what the end result is going to be but I know that if I hadnt
gotten legal representation, B. of A. would have foreclosed on me without any
consideration for what would have happened to our family. I am very grateful for
what we have now and the future looks promising regarding our mortgage
situation.

Professional Law Firm

#4REBUTTAL Individual responds

Sun, July 03, 2011

I think it's very sad when we are happy about someone else's misfortune - whether it be a law firm
or an individual. I pray that nothing bad happens to you and may God forgive you for rejoicing in someone else's misfortune. BTW, the next time you are hurt or someone takes advantage of you, you're going to need an attorney. Oh, and just for your information, not all attorneys are bad. I've been in the legal field for 25 years and I have worked in professional law firm who is committed to providing quality legal services of their clients.
