Consolidated Media Service ripoff deceptive company Atlanta Georgia
I received a call a few months ago from this company. The telemarketer spoke of a lottery and offered subscriptions to magazines that I read. He said it would be three payments for weekly and/or monthly deliveries.
I just received a bill for the fourth consecutive month. In all fairness, I had to move abruptly and called in an address change a couple weeks afterwards. I requested a list of magazines in addition to delivery. I have received 1 magazine for $174(and no list). I am cancelling the subscription this morning.

last year, i made the mistake of ordering magazinesfrom CMS. now they won't leave me alone.
i am getting ready to move. they keep calling and telling me to renew. i keep telling them "no". most of the magazines they send me i have no use for or have any interest in reading. i want to change me magazines or completely quit, but, they won't take "no" for an answer.
how can i get them to leave me alone. i don't have the time right now to read all the magazines they send me.

Beside calling them with your cancellation request, send an e-mail to Clay Hurst, the pres of CMS churst@cmsmags.com, mentioning the following authorities, where you plan to send complaints: (and DO report them, if you cannot get full refund)
www.ftc.gov click on the: File a Complaint Online
(CMS breaks every possible ftc rule repeatedly.)
www.usps.com/postalinspectors - scroll down to the File a Mailfraud Complaint, chose "Prize or sweepstakes" as the subject of your complaint
(USPS HATES sweepstakes)
Call the Attoreny General of Georgia Office of Consumer Affairs (They have a very huge file on this company)
