Complaint Review: Consolidated Media Services and Magazine Source

I was contacted by Consolidated Media Services to trial magazines, saying i could cancel at any time, they sold my magazine list and MY CREDIT CARD information to another company, Magazine Source, who contacted me a month later claiming to be my magazine comany and "confirming" my order and billing informaiton. They repeated my iformation to me as they had it and put a manager on the line to confirm that i had placed the order then appoliginzed that i hadnt recieved my magazines yet but now that they had "confirmed" the order they would be on their way.

Before I new it i was recieving 10 magazines a week and being charges all kinds of mysterious charges on my card, which my credit card company threw off for being unsubstantial. They are refusing to canel my services even though i have sent back the magazines and do not want the sunscriptions.

Help this company thinks nothing of selling or trading my private CREDIT CARD and home information with others. How can they get away with this!!!!!. There should be criminal laws against this. If i sold someone elses credit card information i would be looking at Federal Time.
