I was blatantly told that I would receive at least 5 or 6 magazines per month for a certain number of years for $300. They promptly billed my credit card, but I received no magazines.

When I called several times, I was told that they were late, but would come. No magazines came until months later when I finally received one that I did want and another that I have never heard of and certainly didn't ask for. When I called I learned that this was my "complimentary additional magazine". Since then, I have sporadically received other magazines at random times.

I called again and explained that I was still not receiving the magazines that I had asked for on a regular basis except one. I told them that I wanted to cancel my membership and needed my money back because for whatever reason, I just wasn't getting all of these magazines that they kept assuring me would arrive. I would gladly pay for the few that I had received, but I needed most of that $300 back.

They said (very defensively and rudely) that that was absolutely not possible because I would be breeching the contract that I made with them. I calmly explained that they had already broken the contract because I was not receiving these magazines I had paid for. I was rudely told again that there was nothing I could do, I could not break the contract. I asked several times to speak with a supervisor, but was simply told that it was not possible.

Basically, I need to get my money back since I am not receiving the magazines as was agreed upon in the "contract". I have no idea why this is such a problem, I have never experienced anything like this.
