I recieved a call from consolidated media services telling me that I have been entered in a $50,000.00 drawing and that they wanted to send me a free diamond quartz watch.

Then they spilled their sales pitch on magazines and told me I would recieve 10 magazines, which I would pay $43.68 a month for 12 months and then I would pay nothing for the last 24 months.

I was told it would take 3-4 weeks to recieve my first subscriptions and my free watch. I have not recieved anything yet. I was charged $43.68 on December 9,2002 and $43.68 again on December 27,2002. Reading over my agreement in the mail it sates that it will take 8-10 weeks to get my service started not the 3-4 weeks that I was told over the phone.

I got a feeling to investigate reports over the net and have discovered many complaints againts this service. People not getting their products, overcharging credit cards and customers recieveng harrassing phone calls. I am eager to see what happens.

I work for the law and would love to get one of the many scam-services away from citizens bank accounts. One more thing, I recieved another phone call handing out the same exact sales pitch, she said she had never heard of CMS and weren't affiliated with them. But interesting enough she gave me the same 1-800# as CMS.
