Consolidated Media Services Rip-off I am supposed to pay for magazines through August on the 4th of each month This month they took it out on 12/31 making me overdrawn & paying a $50 charge Atlanta Georgia
They called me and asked me to subscribe to some magazines. Usually I just hang up but I am a disabled widowed on Social Security and stay home except to go to doctors. I thought the magazines would take away some of the boerdam(sp). I was to pay 29.89 a month through my bank account on the 4th or 5th of the month after my check is deposited in my bank.
Since the magazines started I have gotten continual invoices from each magazine for me to pay for it. Plus, I have not gotten nearly all of the magazines. I was told I would get a free watch which I have never gotten. This month I received an overdrawn statement from my bank. They took the money out on 12/31. I have had to pay that amount plus 50.00 in bank charges. I am very upset about this and don't have an income big enough to pay these kind of charges.
I fully intend to cancel their authority to withdraw anything else from my account but would like to see them put out of business and would like to receive my money back especiall the overdrawn money and charges.

After reviewing my account, I have found that they were taking money out of my bank twice a month. I went into the bank and put a stop payment on the withdrawal. Now all of a sudden they took a different amount out and the bank says it isn't their fault that I put a stop payment on an amount.
This company has cost me over 500.00 since August 02. There has got to be a way to stop them. I don't have this kind of money to throw away. If somebody knows a way to help please let me know.

I have been overdrawn on my bank a number of times since I ordered these magazines. I finally took the time to go back at my bank records. I have discovered that they have been taking the money out twice a month. I had been trying to balance my checking account since September and couldn't figure out waht was wrong. NOW I know. I have I don't know how many bad check charges since then and feel like a complete Idot for not having caught it. Seems to me like something could be done. Anybody have any suggestions.
