CONSOLIDATED MEDIA SERVICES ripoff consumer rip-off fraud Atlanta Georgia
I am a mother of three young children. I work small odd jobs to help with the bills. One evening the phone rang during dinner time. (of course)The gentleman spoke fast and with all the home noise, I was told the information would be mailed to me for review. So I accepted. Gave my credit card number and hung up.
A few days later, someone from the same company called again (during dinner) to verify the magazines. I accepted to them thinking and understanding that I could cancell them at any time.
The magazines started to arrive. Wow! I started to look through them and decided I didn't want any of them. I called the company and they told me it was too late to cancell. The ten day trial period was up. What ten day trial period? I wasn't informed of that. I told them to cancell them. They denied again saying they prepaid the companies already and I'm stuck with them.
I cancelled my credit card and wrote to the company. I am still receiving bills. No more magazines though. I don't know what happened to them. So now I am stuck with no magazines and bills still coming in. What a fraud!!!
