I was enticed to buy magazines from Consolidated Media Services b/c it sounded like a great deal; 5 subscritions for about 96 dollars year, a free diamond quartz watch, and an entry into a sweepstakes to win 5,000 dollars.

Unfortunately, I, out of 6 months with the company, have only received about 4 magazines total, when I am supposed to be getting 5 a month.

I called to cancel and they said that they had taken care of it, but later I found that they were still billing my account that was supposedly cancelled. I have not received a refund like they promised.

Send the following e-mail to the president of the company (chrust@cmsmags.com):

Dear Mr.Hurst, I have the following problem....

According the BBB you are always ready to help.

"The Better Business Bureau has obtained an agreement from the company that it will make a full refund to any consumer who registers a justified complaint with the Better Business Bureau even if it is after the expiration of the consumer's right to cancel. The company has also stated that customers can call and speak to Clay Hurst in their office at 1-800-527-4392 or e-mail him at churst@cmsmags.com for resolution before filing a complaint with our office."
