CONSOLIDATED MEDIA SERVICES, s****.>
SERVICES THAT HAVE NOT BEEN RENDERED.BEING CHARGED TWICE FOR THE SAME SUBSCRIPTION,AND COMPANY FILED BANKRUPTCY AND HAS SENT MY ACCOUNT TO A COLLECTION AGENCY.(s****.>
In late 2002 I purchased a 4 year magazine through consolidated media services.Throughout 2003 I had 39.67 automaticly deducted from my checking account. Decemer 2003 i had fulfilled my financial obligation by paying a total 476.04 to cms and was to recieve the magazines for 3 more years.
In february 2004 i was contacted to further my subscription servives for 4 more years at the same price.after 3 months of payments at 39.67 a month i stopped payment.
then they wanted the remaining balance 357.03.I didn't feel like i owed since this was a new contract that i had yet to begin recieving magazines for ,since i had already pre -paid for and the new subscriptiond were not to begin until 2007.well after talking to a collection agency that it had been turned over i learned that CMS had filed bankruptcy and s****.>
therefore i thought it would be a simple matter of just cancelling the contract since in reality it had yet to start.
s****.>
I thought about it but decided that i was not obligated to pay for services that had not been rendered.
They were not helpful and i was told that i misunderstood and did not listen correctly when i was made the offer by CMS.
