constant aol disconnects
aol will disconnect me sometimes up to 15 times a day as i was looking at your pages about aol they got me 3 times in only 5 minutes almost as if to keep me from reading the complaints! that was the last straw mutiny!

Don't you hate that? I had that problem a year or so ago. Turned out it was my phone line. The modem is a sensitive thing...it detects static you and I can't hear. If your phone line has static or imperfection you will get annoying disconnects. A give away is if the disconnects happen even more frequently when it rains or during temperature changes.
Call your phone company and they will send a signal that will burn out any moisture--technology, it's a wonderful thing.
