Do NOT trust Constant Contact!  They are dishonst and provide horrible service.

We signed up with Constant contact over 3 years ago after we confirmed over the phone with one of their representives that they are ok with mailing for supplement business, and we parked the account for over 3 years paying $15 a month becuase we were in the process of colleting opt-in emails.  A  month ago, we were ready use Constant Contact, and then, they tell us that they don't provide email service to supplement businesses.  Now, at this point we have paid over $15*12month*3year= $540 becuase we signed up based on what they told us, which is  that they are ok with our supplement business.  Hoever when we are actually about to  use it, they then tell us bascially in so many words "sorry, you paid us $540 for nothing. And sorry, our rep mis-led you to sign up.  oops... there is no proof, and there is nothing we can do..."

We then spoke to one of their managers and ask them to pull their call recording because the proof is there, so they can hear themselves that their representive clearly mis-led us to sign up.  This manager agreed promised to contact us back to set this straight, but conveniently we never heard back from him.  A few days later, we got a email from their billing saying our account is terminated and no refund shall be given.

Bacially, they scammed us. And they won't or can't pull their call recording to prove they are wrong.

When choosing email/newsletter service companies, trust is paramount, you have to trust this company that they won't sell your email lists to anyone else.  We regret to say, based our experience, we do NOT trust Constant Contact period. They are, simply put, either very lazy, or just untrustworthy, or both.
