Constellation Constellation an Exelon Company Wrongfully switch my electric service from Pepco to Constellation without my knowlege Houston, Texas
Constellation called my home and pretended to be my electric company (Pepco) and proceeded to switch my services without my knowledge or consent. I was notified of the switch by mail from Pepco that they were sorry to hear that I switch my service but they gave me the date that it would be effective. I immediate called Constellation 5-6 times to cancel this and each time I was told that the cancellation was done but I checked with Pepco every day and the service had not been switched back. If the service is not cancelled within 14 days you are charged $150.00 termination fee which is what they are probably waiting for. This is appauling to me that a company can do this and get away with it. This company is bad business. They give Constellation a very bad name. BEWARE, BEWARE

The same thing happened to my mom and dad

My mom and dad live in Washington, D.C. and the exact same thing happened to them only it was done in person and the man that they spoke to had on a Pepco shirt, blue shirt but he did not work for Pepco. I was able to get this cancelled for them but I did not receive any help from pepco, or the public service commission it was almost as if they were working together Constellation and the public service commission. Good Luck. I had to file a claim with the Attorney General's office before I got some degree of satisfaction. Hope all is well with you and yours
