Complaint Review: Consumer Award Advisory Service; C.A.A.S.; Prize Distribution Center

Received a letter from this company today indicating I was a "Confirmed Cash Prize Winner" and all I had to do was send them $21.95 and make the check payable to "C.A.A.S." and mail it to "Prize Distribution Center, PO Box 579001, Las Vegas, NV 89157-9001"

I searched for the company online . . and I found nothing. I searched for company via "Ask Jeeves" . . and found info. pertaining to other ripoffs from this company.

I called "00" and found there was no problem with the phone #702-648-1837 . . I tried to explain the "ripoff" history involving this phone number associated with this company. . but the operator said he was are unable to do anything about it.

If anybody who knows what action should be taken against the phone #. . you should pursue it with the proper agency.

If anybody knows what action should be taken with the U.S.P.S for the indicated PO Box . . you should pursue it . . Maybe the Post office will retrieve any mail in the box and return it to those who have sent this company money ! ! !

I personally did not send them any money ! !
I have the entire mail contents of the envelope if anybody needs it for any legal purposes.

I hope this info helps others who may be scammed.
