Complaint Review: Consumer Base

Consumer Base was hired to deploy 5000 email addresses on my behalf. I got 10 clicks as a result. The company created false stats as I verified them myself. The also would not contact me back when I asked for an ex Chicago, Illinois

I hired this company to send out 5000 emails as a test. I believed they were very genuine when we discussed the campaign. They claimed they had a 15% open rate and 5% click through rate on average. I got 10 clicks and one opt in. I'd bet money the opt in was them and that no legitimate leads even received me advertisement.

The material I used had been tested many times and I have received over a 50% opt in rate on past mailings. I emailed the company several times asking for an explanation. They finally sent me analytics but the stats were completely fake. I had tracking on my campaign and everything they sent me seemed to be made up.

I tried contacting the sales associate, Nick Horton, and never heard back on several emails.

I was most disheartened because I really felt like I was dealing with an ethical company. The fact that they couldn't respond to my queries proved to me that I was not.

The fact that I wasted $400 was secondary to the fact that I felt completely scammed. Stay away from this company.
