Consumer Cellular Holding Me Hostage but Advertising No Contract??! Internet

Consumer Cellular was good until I needed to add my 10 year old son to the plan.  I needed unlimited data and Consumer Cellular does not have this option.  When I tried to change to a new provider with affordable options, they wouldn't unlock my 10 year old's phone because I didn't satisfy their six month policy. I purchased his phone in June so I couldn't move him to a new provider with his newly purchased phone when I tried in August. The plan was cancelled and now my son doesn't have a phone and when he goes to camp, trips and eventually a new school, he won't be able to reach me and I won't be able to track him. I told them this, but still no exception even though I have been a loyal customer for over four years and three phone purchases during this time.  None of the reps even cared. Consumer Cellular advertises no contract, but they are holding me hostage for six months. #falseadvertisement  #stayaway
