Complaint Review: Consumer Electronics Technology Service

I was contacted yesterday, and asked all the right questions. Or so I thought. Adam, had an answer for everything. He was quick and very professional. I had a very hard time not believing him. I tried, but just couldn't. They make it sound like it is a great deal that you will miss out on if you don't say ok.

I got to the Verification Officer: Melanie. While going thru the verification, the prerecorded portion, I kept staying stop, and Melanie would hop in and help clarify my questions. Before I could finalize the deal, we were cut off. I went to my computer to look up the company name and that is how I found your web-site. A few mins. later, Melanie called me back. I got a number from California on my caller i.d. as opposed to a private name or unknown name this time. My answering machine picked up and recorded the whole conversation between Melanie and myself.

I clearly and repeatedly stated that I want to cancel. I asked if it would be canceled and they reffered me to the customer service number, This time a diffrent number than was given originally (1-888-577-4432. The new number was (1-888-888-8760). I called it as well and no one ever answered. I have also tried to call the number that showed up on my caller i.d. (310-356-7055) from (El. Segundo, Ca.) It would not complete my call, stating that it is an uncallable number. I hope that some of this information will help.
