Hello,
First off a HUGE Thank you to all of you who have posted. I have recently been in the process of re-building my credit. As such, I have been recieving some "real" offers. This one sounded way too good to be true. So I thought I would research it myself, then file a complaint.

To sum up what I have found:
1. They are a real company.
2. They will not honor their 30 day money back policy.
3. The card they issue can only be used for their merchandise.
4. They sell cheap crap at high prices.
5. They are scam artists.
6. The letter I recieved looks EXACTLY like the one posted on this site.
7. This is the result of a whois:

Domain Name: CFPCARD.COM
Registrar: GO DADDY SOFTWARE, INC.
Whois Server: whois.godaddy.com
Referral URL: http://registrar.godaddy.com
Name Server: NS.SITEPROTECT.COM
Name Server: NS2.SITEPROTECT.COM
Updated Date: 02-oct-2002

Please do not send them a dime. My letter is going into the mail tommorow, without a check, just a special note to let them know how I feel.

On another note. Those of us who have bad credit do have to work harder. The only person we have to blame is ourself. Once you get over trying to blame everything else and owe up to it, things get better. I have recently done such, and I am on my way. So far the best advice I have is to deal with your local bank. Almost all of them will issue a secured card. Get one, use it wisely. If you can not even afford to save up enough cash to get one. Then you really shouldn't have a credit card in the first place.
