A letter came through the mail for a credit card allowing me 5000 dollar credit limit and 0%apr for twelve months. I have recently read many reports from others who received the same information. This is a red flag to everyone as being a fraud.

There is no phone number or actual physical address and all information will be sent after your money is received. Does anyone reallly believe this? Also you are all flagged do to the fact that no specific credit card was listed, ex: visa, mastercard, etc.

This people receive your name off a list after you start to receive info on other credit cards you have applied for. There are ligitamate repair cards out there such as Providian that will charge a small amount for the card however all the info is given to you before hand to insure you understand what you are paying for.

So my suggestion is that if you need repair help or a first time credit card see Providian and get it started the legal way. Most of you people that received this info have the worst credit around or no bank account, seriously now did you think someone would give ol joe nobody 5000 dollar credit line when a dep. store wont give you one?
