I sent a check out on Febraury 5, 2003 in the amount of $49.00 to Consumer First. They were offering a $5,000 credit limit for a one time only annual fee of $49. I figured I could do balance transfers from other cards and my payments would be lower a month. I do not have bad credit but thought it was a good way to consolidate. Now it is Feruary 28, 2003 and I was wondering why I still did not recieve any information. So I got a copy of my check from the bank and looked at where it was deposited. Then I went on the Internet and entered Consumer First into keywords. Immediately a rip-off report appeared on this company. I work at my bank so I do not think getting my money back will be a problem but I wish there was more you could do then just get a refund for all the aggraviation. I hope this report informs other before it is too late.
