I received a certificate in the on January 9, 2003. It was very nicely worded and very business-like. The certificate even had a seal of guaranteed approval and a certificate verification number for my records. The certificate verification number was 7270148-AS. The certificate was for a Consumer First credit card with 0% APR !st 12 Mths. The already approved guaranteed credit limit was $5,000.00.As you can guess, I never received my card.

I was looking for a credit card with a higher credit limit so that I could take care of a few items that required the use of a credit card. Nothing fancy. Just something to be able to charge more than $200.00 but less than $500.00. As much as I use the internet, I didn't think to check up on Consumer First. After all, a lot of credit card companies are currently offering credit cards online where you have to pay the annual fee up front. The only difference is that Consumer First had a lower annual fee 0f $44.00 compared with some credit card companies who required paid annual fees of $149.00 along with other outrageous fees.
At the time that I returned the certificate with my check ($44.00/annual fee + $4.00 rush) I was starting a new business and really needed a credit card with a higher credit limit.
