Consumer First Robert Stevens Credit Card ripoff deceptive company Tampa Florida
I nearly fell for this one. As I read the letter one more time I finally spotted the rip-off tip-off.
Suspicious of the label at the top left of the letter "CREDIT PROVIDER" and the statement "Complete details for your membership will be included with your new platinum card", (Why not right now?), I spotted the scam in the third paragraph of one sentence.
"YOU MAY USE YOUR PLATINUM CARD IMMEDIATELY UPON RECEIPT FOR ALL PURCHASES FROM CREDIT PROVIDER", not purchases from any other provider and they labelled themselves as the credit provider.
These bloodsuckers need to be caught and punished. It is very easy to misconstrue the wording and written that way on purpose to mislead the unwary. Be careful.
