I like many others, fell for a scam from Consumer Incentive promotions. You had to complete a survey and a total of 6 offers which included 2 from page 1, 2 from page 2, and 2 from page 3. I completed all requirements required per their terms and conditions.

Within a week I showed 5 of the 6 offers being completed but was awaiting approval from a discover card. I was approved for this on 2/2/05 and made a purchase (which was required). They have never updated their system to show requirements completed to earn my free apple notebook.

This is very unfair. I made many purchases that I would have not otherwise made. This company needs stopped. They are not even fulfilling their own terms. I have contacted them atleast 10 times in the past 7 weeks without even a response back.

I have also called their phone number and just get a recorded message stating to leave your information and they will get back with you. Well guess what, I have not received and calls back from that either. I held up my end of the agreement and now I want my free apple notebook. I think that isn't to much to ask.

With a lot of effort and reading some ideas from previous posts on this site, today I finally received my apple i book. After I mailed and faxed over copies of my ibook, 8 days later, I am typing this report on my laptop! It is really cool and was definately worth all of the extra effort. Good luck everyone and do not give up. I think that is what they want is for people to just give up and then they don't have to fulfill all of the gift orders. Good luck!!!

Amazingly after filing all of these reports and also filing a report with the better business busreau, I did receive a computer generated email stating for me to mail in copies of my proof of completing offers.

I didn't really believe that would get me any where so I too started trying to get through on the phone number 866-379-8612 but there wasn't ever anyone at that number. All I kept getting was a answering machine. Like someone mentioned in another report, I just started dialing extensions until I got a live person.

I can't even remember what I dialed but I got a hold of a Mike whom happened to be the V.P. of marketing. He tried at first to brush me off and told me that I needed extension #100 and then I explained all of the issues that I was having about not getting credit for offers and then sending countless emails and leaving numerous messages at this extension but never had even gotten a response. He tried to make the excuse that customer service is behind and have to fill thousands of redemtions daily, but I told him that no response after 2 months of phoning was just not acceptable regardless.

He was completely shocked by this information and said he would have somebody call me back yet that day. I thought...yah right. Amazingly about 1 1/2 hrs later a very nice girl named Maria phoned me back and asked if I could fax over my proof right away and she would get my gift ordered. So I immediately looked up my info and faxed it to her and today which is 2 days later, I got an email with the tracking number for my apple ibook. Their website still has never been updated to show all offers complete, but as long as I get my laptop, I really don't care.
