I ahve been with Consumer Porfolio since 2006. I am a disabled veteran with a incurable disease that has recently gotten worser. I have been harrassed by consumer portfolia so much I have started phone logs and recording voicemails. I am late paying my bill because at the beginning of the month my medication runs low and I need to refilled it. Even if I am a day or 2 late they are calling and harrassing me. Just recently I revieved a call at the beggining of Feb stating that they did not receive Jan payment. I ebill all of my payment so I checked my bank and it was taken out. I explained it but it wasn't enough. They wanted me to cancel it and do a check by phone which he assured me it would post on the 11th of jan. 2 weeks have passed now and the check has not cleared and the bank said they have no record of it being ever proccessed. I received a call today from one of their supervisors stating that the check came back insufficiant and the proccess will began if I don't give them a call by 3 eastern. This is one of their branches in Florida. There is money in my bank and has been there for this check to clear. I also called them 1 week prior and they told me the check was proccessed and my payment was up to date. They never proccessed the check and held it for 2 weeks. I need help this is the only vehicle we have to get me back and forth to the doctors I'm seeing. I have documents and recording to prove this fact.

I am also from Louisiana and deal with the Florida branch and am trying to find a way and the correct person to mail email or fax my complaint to.
