When CPS financed me, there was nothing in the paperwork (I have read it over and over again) stating that I couldn't make payment by credit card. I had been trying to take care of my payment all weekend but thought maybe I was doing something wrong (it's been known to happen). I finally got through to someone and she was the NASTIEST person I'd ever spoke with! She said they don't accept Bank of America debit. I tried (for the umpteenth time) to explain it wasn't a debit, but a credit card sponsored by Bank of America. When she said there was no way I was going to be able to make a payment with my credit card, I said that she should note my account that I would have to get a payment to them on Friday via Western Union, etc. She started yelling at me and going into the scare tactics. "This is your first payment and Friday is NOT acceptable! You have to get a payment to this office TODAY! GO TO THE ATM AND GET THE CASH OUT!" I finally hung up on her. But my delimma is that I wouldn't have waited to take care of it w/my credit card if I had know that there would be this much problem.

Shouldn't there be some place in your contract they have to disclose the only ways they will accept payment?
