This is the first time that I have had a car loan with no payment book. We have no record of the payments we have made, or what our interest rate is for our vehicle.

From the first payment that we made, they have told us that we are a payment behind, and have charged us late fees. Our payment started out being on the 17th of the month. About a month ago, my wife received a call at her place of business telling her that the payment was late because I had changed the payment date to the first of the month, so that it would be more convenient for us. I never made this change with them, and we never received anything in writing that this change would occur.

As a result, we are behind on our payment. My wife called CPS two weeks ago, to try to make a payment plan with one of their representatives.
The woman was rude, and very unprofessional. She did, however, tell my wife that if we added an extra 100.00 to our payments for the next two months, we would be back on track. We made one payment at that time, and she told her that she would have to call back to make the other payment next month. She also asked if we were REALLY going to call. Very rudely! My wife said that she would and the call ended. Since then, CPS has been leaving messages on our phone every day, 3-4 times a day, and at all times of day!

We are fed up with this treatment and feel something should be done about this fly-by-night outfit!! We had no idea what we were getting involved with, and unfortunately it looks like alot of others didn't either.
