I have tried to establish an audit with Consumer Portfolio for the past 6 months, and I have not been successful. Now this is the month for me to receive my titles and they refuse to make this happen. For some apparent reason, they have attached an additional 3 months to a 48 month contract, which should have ended this month. When I have asked them why, not one representative can give me an answer. They can not fax or mail me my payment history for when this contract belonged to seawest financial, because they say they don't have it. How can you take over an account and don't have something as important as this? I never missed a payment or asked for a deferment. Matter of fact, by me being in the military I had to established this account by allotment, or I would not have been approved for the loan. I want my titles and I am not going to pay them another dime.
