An Add appears on my Yahoo Home page: "Test a Nike Driver and get one free"

So I click on this supposedly legitimate ad and get taken through a maze of phony statements that get you deeper and deeper into all sorts of so called "Special offers". Problem is, most of these supposedly benign offers are a cancer that will continue to charge your credit card for items that are supposedly free - just pay shipping (NOT).

Once you give them your credit card number - look out! You will get your "free" ultrarelief creme for the shipping charge of only $3.97. About 2 weeks later a charge of $66.90 will show up on your credit card with no explanation. Now starts the process of contacting the consumer fraud division of the attorney generals office, placing the charge in dispute with Visa and on and on...

This type of advertising will kill legitimate Internet sales and maybe it should, after all, who wants to have their money extorted for answering what should have been a legitimate offer! Yahoo has dropped all advertising from these crooks, but they will continue to use whatever portal they can to continue to rip people off!!
