On December 3rd 2011 I heard the radio commercial for foreclosed home listings by the consumer resource network. I called and talked with a salesman named Tony. No last name.

I signed up for what I was told would be a one free month trial with 1.99 charged for shipping and handling of the lists. I was told i needed to cancel by January 2nd 2012 or I would be charged a monthly fee of 29.99.

We still have not found a home we wanted so I kept he membership thinking $30 was not a bad price. I looked at my credit card statement a few days ago and found they have subsequently charged me nearly $240 from four different services over two months that I never agreed to. I only agreed to the CRN membership of 29.99.

I called them the other day and got a woman in customer service that said she canceled my service and that I would receive a refund. Then she said there needed to be an investigation into the recorded conversation? And said she would call me by february 18 or I could call her back at that same number. How am I supposed to talk to a specific representative when their customer service calls are pooled? I could barely understand her between the accent and how quickly she was talking.

I then started looking up lawsuits against them online and came to this site to see the same problems happening to other people and felt I needed to file my own report. Currently I am still waiting to see if they call me back. Though I will be canceling my credit card regardless.

Since calling them to cancel my report on Monday (February 13) I have also received numerous random phone calls from across the country that I have never gotten before. I do not answer them because they are in the format of what I guess to be telemarketers. I'm beginning to think that they sold off my phone number and information after I canceled their service. Definitely canceling my credit card now.

Also after reading numerous reports on this site and others I've come to the conclusion that they will more than likely not be giving me back my money. So I went and have filed a report with the FTC to attempt to get it back that way, and hopefully the FTC will investigate this company and get them shut down.....again.
