Complaint Review: CONSUMER'S REWARD PROGRAM

received check for 3820.00 from rewards program, check looked extremely real. i verfied the acct. with Harris Bank in Ill. was told that this was a fraud. the acct number did belong to an existing acct. both the bank and the company were investigating.my curiousty got the better of me so i called the number to see what i was supposed to do. "charles" answered my call, after verifying my claim number and name. i was told to deposit the check into my acct. and call on friday to notify them that the check (for luxury tax) had cleared and that they would give further instructions.
