Consumers reward Program Johnson financial sent letter stating i won a program lottery of $39,000. ticket number 949130. Attached was a check for $3950.00 drawn on the Wells Fargo Bank in Minneapolis MN. Letter states this is a check drawn on a account that holds the rest of the 39,000. It states that as soon as check received i was to contact Sandy Lowe or Mohan Sergio at 1-905-509-6619
hours Monday - Friday 9am to 9 pm
Saturday 10 am - 5 pm
However, when i tried to call this number at 4:30 Monday 06-30-08 the voice mail was full and could take no other messages. I have Not tried to cash this check. There is another complaint stating they did get in contact with the people and were told to deposit check and after it cleared to call them back.. that check could not be cashed .

It's a scam. Take the check to your local wells fargo and let them take it and send it to their loss prevention department so it can be investigated.

the phone number 905-598-6619 is a cell phone that belongs to Fido Solutions in Brampton, Ontario Canada The address 231 Denver Street Hamilton ON is an invalid address according to the Canadian reverse directory. I am going to call Wells Fargo Bank tomorrow to see if this check is legitimate but I feel it is not
