I shop often online. I received a letter stating that I won $65,000.00, due to a ticket being picked with my name on it from frequently shopping at a particular store. (the store is not specified) Inclosed is a check that looks legitimate.

In the letter, it states that the enclosed check is for $3,950.00, which was deducted from my total winning of $65,000.00. The amount of the check is to assist me in paying the $2,950.00, which is the applicable Sweepstakes Processing and Insurance Fees associated with my winnings. I call the guy and ask him if there are any strings attached and he ignorantly says why am I wasting his time calling him if I feel it may be a scam. He asks me for my claim # and after I give it to him he says I am no longer in the system cause he took my name and claim number and I screwed up by asking him if it was a legitmate company. He then hangs up on me and I try to call back and his voicemail is full. I am hoping that there is no outstanding bill on my phone for calling.
