This is the biggest scam out there and it is being perpetrated by one of the largest credit reporting agencies in the world - Experian, Inc.

Unsuspecting customers provide credit-card information to receive a credit report and then typically cancel the service immediately after receiving the free report. You simply send in an email requested your membership be terminated - and you think that is it.

Unknowingly, Consumerinfo.com now has your credit (or debit) card information and on Day 91 charges you for the 1-year membership.

Both my girlfriend and I got whacked $79.95. To add insult to injury, she even was charged a $33.00 returned check fee because she used a debit card with an account that very little money in it.

A complete scam run by a publicly traded company. Given today's business ethics - Martha Stewart, Tyco, Enron, WorldCom, this comes as no real shock.

I say FILE A CLASS-ACTION LAWSUIT against these bums as there are more than 1,000 people who have either complained about Consumerinfo.com or CIC Credit Monitor (one in the same).
