If you ever come across something that states that they will send you a *free* copy of your consumer credit report, with a *free trial membership* etc etc Do not do it.

They will bill your credit card long before the trial membership is up. I've been wondering what my credit report said about me, so I signed up for it, thinking I had 30 days to cancel it. 2 weeks before my 30 days was up, I look on my bank statement to see that I have been billed by them for $79.95. And since I had just paid off all of my utility bills and miscellaneous things from my bank account, I had less then that $79.95 in my bank account. So when they took my money, I also got charged an over draft fee. Which I am pursuing to get reimbursed for.

I called them up today and raised heck to get them to credit my bank account the $79.95 but they refuse to pay that other fee, which is their fault, because if they didn't bill me when they weren't supposed to, I would never have been in the negative. Do not let them fool you. They will give you the run around, it is not worth it. Just call up the 3 credit burueas yourself and get a real free report straight from them. It is worth it. Believe me. Don't get scammed like I did.

These Fraudsters would just "love" for you to think you need their permission to receive a credit.

Rebuttal:

These Fraudsters would just "love" for you to think you need their permission to receive a credit. That just isn't the case. Go to your bank first thing tomorrow and fill out an ACH (Account Clearing House) fraud complaint and request an immediate credit to your account. Don't quibble, be firm.

If you want to see your credit report you can get a free copy of it on your own. There are three big credit bureaus and all will give you "one" free credit report a year. Just call them:

Equifax: 800-685-1111

Experian: 888-397-3742

Transunion: 800-916-8800

Good Luck

The Fraud Chick
