Thirty day trial membership that includes a free credit report should be just that. I was emailed my memebership info and was told to wait for the passcode by snail mail, then I could access my report with the listed email address. I accessed my report in the 'last' week of my trial membership and was charged $4.95 for a request for an 'additional' report. I called the 800# and was told they emailed me two days after I joined stating my report was ready and to access it within 3 weeks or it would be deleted. I told him I never received this email and he said that I must have deleted or missplaced it. (missplaced???) I had also signed my husband up and the email was in his mailbox but interestingly the notification didn't say that you'd be out of luck or charged for an additional report. (additional?, doesn't that mean I received prior reports?) I would think that this shows business practices that need to really, really be scrutinized. Buyer beware.
