Consumerinfo.com / Experian-Surprise! Same Company ripoff, bad company owned by the credit reporting agency itself Costa Mesa California
Hi!
I have not been ripped off by Consumerinfo.com but many others have. I did, however, find out a little fact: consumerinfo.com is owned by Experian.com . In fact, they own several other websites: from the PR release:
Experian Consumer Directs family of sites includes ConsumerInfo.com, FreeCreditReport.com, CreditExpert.com, GetMyReport.com and CreditMatters.com.

It's a fact. I have made the BBB aware of this...not that I believe they'll do much about it. We'll see. If my latest experience with the BBB is an example, some BBB's are trying to change that. Anyways...understand this website is not independent..and owned by Experian itself. Go after them...they need some lessons in better business conduct.
