I was approved ,when I got the card andtried to activate they accused me of lie on the phone # but the phone Cp. schanged the area code from 505 to 575 It was a major process to activate the act. Then the day after I get this e-mail saying the rates have been changed on your act. and the fees, please contact us if you don't want to activatie this act. I stopped payment on the
bank check by draft and I tried to contact the email and the 800# each time they said you have to contact the office I was contacting the office from the
next day on they called sometimes 4 or 5 times a day each time I told them to stop this act,it was a scam. the one NET FLix for 9.00 I tried to usse it on the internet was declined and then I got the message about the new fees on a email . I had to send netflix a check to get my movies in good standing that was the only reason I wanted a Card for the first time in my name.At 60 I guess it was time to start beilng dumb but I wanted to start somewhere ,for future uses on crusie or travel. This is a rip off.

THIS A RIPOFF

This card is a ripoff, once i recieved the card and read the terms and understood the outrageous fees applied I attempted to cancel the card. I was given the run around for an entire day. I paid my intial payment(to keep my credit score decent) with ACH debit and stressed the rest of my payments would be paid with another method. Well before I was able to pay the following bill my account was charged again, unauthorized. So again i wanted to cancel and was informed this time that the card would still be accurring fees until the balance was paid off....and this is the balance that the company applied to the card, i have never used the card. For the unauthorized charge I went through hell and high water......I was transferred numerous times, given false extentsions, unprofessional reps...each person who was assisting me failed to note the account so each time i called back i had to go over the story again and was accused each time of not speaking with anyone that day....and much more.......I was told to fill out a form and fax it over, which the fax number given never did accept a connection. So the very last rep i spoke with claimed to have cancled the account, well i'm still recieving emails regarding the card, so i called customer service to ensure the card was cancelled...and guess what it was not!!!!! and on top of that the fees are still accuring, so if you get this card and change your mind your stuck locked into a debit that was created by the card company and they have the nerve to still charge fees on a card that is canceled, that you are unable to use....this company will casue your credit score to plumit it is not pratical at all......several of my co workers also have horror stories about this company and i have urged them all to file a report on this site....there is no justifying the scheme this company has going...basically they give you a line of credit charge so many fees that basically nothing is left and you spend several months paying that off....on top of the fees they continuously charge each month. Hopefully everyone that gets sucked into this trap will speak out and we can stop people from being schemed out their hard earned money and time.

On the main page of that credit card company, among other things it says

"This is a fee based product in which fees will be billed to your first statement, thus reducing your available credit until they are paid."

Further:
Account Processing Fee: $200.00 (one-time fee)
Annual Fee: $25.00
Account Maintenance Fee: $144.00** (annualized)

** says:
"**The Account Maintenance Fee of $144.00 will be billed to your credit card in equal monthly installments of $12.00. The fee will be charged each month, beginning with your second Billing Statement."

This card cost you $237 before you even used it. Did you pay that before you tried to use it at NetFlix?
