On Dec 2006 Fry's Electronics offered the deal of a life time. For $199.00 plus S/H $44.00 a Samsung CLP-510 Color Laser (double sided) Printer complete with everything except USB cable. This offer included a $100 rebate which when factored in ment a color laser printer w/double sided capacity for $99.00! Wow, almost too good to pass up, you think?

Well I filled out the downloaded rebate form from Fry's website. Complied with all rebate rules including time frame. Sent rebate by Certified Mail and proceded to think nothing more as the rebate stated 6 to 8 weeks until rebate check came.

On Jan 19th 2007 I received an e stating that my rebate had been disqualified due to (are you ready for this) "The receipt you submitted is from a non-qualifying store"!I contacted Fry's immediately and told them about the excuse for not honoring the rebate. Fry's reaction was "their nuts"!I agreed with Fry's conclusions.

Needless to say I did the fax everything to Fry's (rebate dept.) the Better Business Bureau, Inc., Ripoff website. Next is Samsung directly for their reaction.... stay tuned, more on this story as it develops....

I ask that you contact the rebate center regarding your rebate submission.
There may have been a computer glitch or the fact that something on the receipt was unreadable.

If you call us we should be able to get this fixed for you.
Although this rebate is from December 2006 we can send a request to have your old rebate pulled up and see what the error was if it is not to late and then possibly have it corrected, so before you go any further I suggest you call the rebate center.
