A few months ago,I bought (2)XFX 8600GT video cards,which had $20.00 rebates on them.
I read all the instructions concerning submitting the rebates, and followed all the guidelines.
Only one card per household was eligible for rebate,so I only submitted one rebate.
Two months later I go to rebatestatus.com,to check on the rebate process.
No information available, only a link to write customer service. Over a two week period, I have written customer service six times with no response.
I guess it is their practice to ignore customers request for money they owe.
Not even the slightest acknowledgement from this company.
Due to their actions, I am highly unlikely to ever buy any products from XFX again, or anyone they do business with.
When buying products with rebates, one always wonder how long it is going to take to receive them, if they will receive them, and how much hassle will it be to receive them.
This company appears to be the worst for providing the rebates in which they were contracted to do.
For their lack of service and customer care, I like many have contacted the BBB and XFX and the vendor from which I have purchased many products.

A consumer should not have to be put in such a posistion to have to push and shove for what is rightfully theirs.
The money is not much, but the principle is.

I would like to advise yourself and all others who are reading this that our email response time is 5-7 business days (Monday-Friday).

Also we do not ignore our customers, please make sure your email is going to the correct email address and if you are not getting a response I am sure you have a phone so pick it up and call us.

XFX Stands Behind Consumer For Rebate

I am glad to say XFX responded to my letters concerning my rebate,and asked the handling company(Continental Promotion Group)
to fullfill it.

I see now at rebatestatus.com my information and the fact it is being processed.

It seems I had to go thru a lot of steps,write a lot of letters,and wait a long time to get results,but it looks like the process is almost done.
It is well beyond the 8 weeks of submission,and took more then 8 weeks to even acknowledge at rebatestatus.com my rebate.

Though I have not recieved any letters from Continental Promotion Group(rebatestatus.com),XFX has handled this for me.
My faith in XFX has been restored,and for this,I am happy.

Upon reciept of payment,I will easliy be able to put this behind,and hope maybe others will be able to aquire their rebates a bit easier.
