The worst company I've ever dealt with. They take your money and do not stand behind you 100% when your car is in the shop. They are a waste of time. They are super nice when trying to sell you their warranty, but after you have purchased from them, they are total garbage and have no customer service skills. They are useless and I would have never expected such horrible service from such a company. please do not buy from them, do ur research first. they have many more complaints under BBB. do not fall for their stupid joke that ALL of them use, 'i understand you cant afford to pay for this all at once...i mean last time i checked, i wasn't related to bill gates either.' such a stupid lame joke. idiots. and honestly you would think that after you give someone $3400 for a service, they would make sure you are fully satisfied and go beyond expections for your needs, but no, not continental warrenty. PLEASSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!! THE WORST COMPANY EVER! I wish someone would have told me before I got myself in to this mess. Oh and the free $15 gas vouchers seem to never make it the customers!!!! LIES LIES LIES!!!!!! SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!! DO NOT DO THIS TO YOURSELF!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR ENERGY!!!!

I think the BBB does a fair job of managing complaints. If a company is a member and a client or potential client phones in a complaint, they make us respond to every single complaint. No matter how ridiculous some of the complaints may be, example a client complaining his battery is not covered by warranty. Of course it isn't but they are mad and they complain. We then have to resolve the complaint in a manner which satisfies the Bureau and the client.

As far as a B rating, most companies who deal with a high volume of business get a B rating.

Bank of America, Best Buy, Circuit City, Applebees, Mcdonalds, Wal Mart, Verizon, AT&T are all great examples of publicly traded companies who are not scams who receive the same rating my company does.

I think that the more important issue is this, and this is for all four of you. Are we complaining about the service we provide? No. Are we complaining about us paying a claim we said we would? No. Are we complaining about our warranty not covering something it should of? No. This complaint that all three comments so obviously ignore is a complaint about us being a rip off and a scam and please don't do business with us by a person who very well could work for a competitor of ours.

I know we are not a scam or a rip off. I help clients every single day, SAMSAM never called me for assistance, that is a complete fabrication. The truth is my company pays it's claims, honors our agreement with clients, and try on every single call to provide top level customer service. Do we have people who complain about us? Absolutely and so does every company who deals with a large client base, simple math, the more people you contact the more people who will have a problem eventually. Restraunts, banks, cell phone providers, Retailers, Insurance agencies around the country have the same amount of complaints as we do. It's unfortunately the nature of the beast.

Listen Lonnie, nobody has that kind of time to make a fake profile to try and bash your company. I'm a real customer and I can fax my paperwork to anyone that would like to see it. I have everything that your company sent me. I did try calling you a couple of times, and of course NO RESPONSE! I'm not surprised, birds of a feather flock together. Your whole team of unprofessional reps are not worth anybodys time or money. I really do hope people in need of car warranties find this in time!! I really do wish I had done a better research before I got myself into such a mess. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY!!

A "B" rating....

To the Employee...I really would not try and use the fact that you have a "B" rating with the BBB as a selling point. The BBB is an organization that tends to be on the side of the business. If you have a B, when their ratings go from AAA to F, this is not a good sign.

It would sort of be like eating at a resturant that has a "B" rating from the health department. You may be okay but you also have a good chance of having issues.

Lonnie's quote: "we are a member in good standing with the BBB"....Member of BBB?....."In good standing"? Why, of course you are. MEMBERS are always "in good standing". Being the sole source of income for the BBB, why would ANY MEMBER be in anything but "good standing"?
.
This is, in fact, a sales tool used by the BBB. Non members are encouraged to join to gain the ability to negate any bad reports they might've collected as non-members. Hell, everybody now knows that!
.
A positiive report on a NON-member MIGHT bear some weight.

Usually a complaint like this I don't respond to

Sir,

I hear no explanation of the poor customer service you received from us. If you have a complaint please call me at 1-866-989-9100 Extension 1620 and ask for Lonnie Pitts.

Reading this I assume this is an email sent from an employee of a competitor of ours trying to have complaints he can walk clients through to scare them off of my very reputable company.

As far as the issue of BBB complaints, we are a member in good standing with the BBB and have a "B" rating with them which implies reputability and a good company that the BBB recommends.

I really have no more comments towards this complaint except to say that someone reading this who is considering my company, please read a more rational and reasonable complaint before passing judgement.
