Complaint Review: CONTRACTING SERVICE

 I hired Rolando Sanchez, of General Contracting Service,(a fake company); to do my 2,500sft tenant’s remodeling in my commercial building. Rolando gave me an estimate for installing drywall, new electrical, build a restroom with commercial toilet and sink, and finishing all new drywall throughout to tape and floating and painting, to pass the inspection. In addition he charged me to redo the complete Roof, which the roof was leaking after the job was done, and he did not honer his warranty. This man low balled the total job in order to get the work, and then he ripped me off. He brought in a Mexican man to hang the drywall then he himself came in to finish the work. The job was required 3 weeks for $28,000.00 to be completed . However, whenever I was giving this man advance money, he was disappeared for several days, because he was probably busy ripping other people. It took him nearly 4-month and not even ½ job was done. He never completed the job. All he did time to time calling me that he needed more money to purchase materials without showing positive action. When I questioned the work and commented that the work was terrible and unfinished, he walked off the job without returning the key to my building, and then he returned at latter time, when I was not there, and stole all the materials that he purchased for me, including all my tools, latter, new door, and every property belonged to me. This man forced me to hire another contractor, who had to demolish the Rolando’s shoddy work, and redo and completed in two weeks. That $28,000.00, job that was paid to him, costed me $58,000.00. In researching and investigating this man, I found that He handed me a business card with no address with a fake company name. There is no such General Contracting Service anywhere in any official capacity has been registered. I am filling this complaint to prevent more victims from Rolando Sanchez who has a behavior as a thieve, scammer, rip-offs and Fraud.
