Complaint Review: Bernard Haldane

For the last 10 plus years I have worked for a variety of contracting firms that hired me as a consultant and placed me at companies to perform software devlopment and other information technology services. These positions have ALL been contracts with the client company where I have been paid as an employee by the contracting firm. There are several reputable and a few not so reputable firms that perform this service, however, Bernard Haldane is NOT one such firm.

As I said, I worked for several of these contracting firms and was not too surprised that one of my internet inquiries led to a call for an interview at a Bernard Haldane office. After the first few minutes, the interview seemed to be a little different than what I was used to - instead of feeling like I needed to provide information about my past consulting experience, etc., I started to feel more like I was in a sales office and being led to a buying decision.

The consultant was excellent, professional, and quite entertaining to talk with. However, when he hit me with the final $4000 fee pitch and the bring your wife to the next meeting, I was quite dissappointed.

Never, for one second did I consider the purchase of their "services" and never should anyone else! Invest the $4000 in hands on training, certification, college, or even new roof for your porch - you'll come out way ahead!
