On Wednesday 29 February 2012 I received a phone call from 1-866-377-5027 on my cell phone. I ignored it because I didn't / don't recognize it. On Thursday 01 March 2012 I rerceived yet another phone call from the same number on my cell phone, this was at 10:17am. On the same day I then received another call from this very same number on my home phone. Now I am beginning to get annoyed, considering we are on the do not call registry (DNC). Trying to find out who / whom (person / company)this number belonged to I decided to call this number back, via my home phone.

When I dialed the number 1-866-377-5027 I got the standard suspicious message, "Hello please hold for the first available representative, it's important that we speak with you, we will be with you shortly, thank you". At the end of the recording you can barely make out the name of the company "Convergence Solutions". I was put on eternal hold while they tried to locate someone who speaks spanish, right!. After this mumbo jumbo I hung up. I then immediately called back.

On the second and after a very brief wait try I was connected to a representative who stated that his name was Jose Loza, he asked me if my name was "insert first and last name here". I asked him who the heck this was since they don't identify themselves on the recording. He stated that this was in reference to a Palasades Wells Fargo account?. This is odd since I don't bank with nor have an accouint with said / stated company. I informed him that I don't bank with that company and that I am on the DNC.

He told me that this wasn't a sales call etc. He further stated that to further discuss the account with me he needed to "verify" some of my information. He started by asking my name and if I reside in "city name here" and my last four of my SSN. I informed him that if they allege that I owe someone then they can send me the said information via snail mail I further informed him that since they cannot identify themselves on their recording I could not provide any of my PII and to have a good day and hung up.

As far as I am concerned this is a scam. Furthermore questions arise as how the heck they acquired my cell phone number (1st) and then my home phone number. If I continue to receive harrasing phone calls from these individuals I will report them to the BBB, Local and State Attorneys Office, My Congressman, Senator and anyone else who will here my complaint in reference to this company's practices. I am a veteran and will not tolerate nor take this nonsense.
