I received a DISMISS letter from Midland funding, same day Feb 8, that I received a settlement offer from Convergent Outsourcing, Inc, dates match....they wanted me to pay a settlement offer of $3,351.13, Convergent even said it was for 50% off total balance.....The one Midland Funding dismissed was for $3,875.12, and what was funny that Convergent has on their settlement offer that my principal is : $4,793.37
Interest + : 1,908.89
total bal : 6,702.26
and sooooo nice of them to give me 50% off of an amount that I NEVER HAD......
please I have written the FTC. my complaint has been entered into Consumer Sentinel, in the federal government.
the DEBT COLLECTION COMPANIES love it if you don't fight them, if your don't show up at your hearings and if you don't respond to them.....don't let it happen !!! These bottom feeders buy portfolios of DEBT for pennies on the dollar and then expect each debtor to pay full amount on the debt.... Fight them
