Convergent Outsourcing, Inc, stating they are a collection agency and are representing LVNV Funding LLC  and they "original" creditor was Metris", who ever they are and I have never had an account with company ever, and the "Principal" is $1,050.54 and the "Settlement in Full" would $685.84, 35% of the Total Balance Due and would clear this account in "Full". They then gave "3 Ways To Pay": Online; by phone, which I would never give out personal information to an "Unknown Company" to me; or by mail to a completely "Different Address" than the Original one. I will not pay a company I don't know or to another address different than the original stated on the letter heading. They also had on a place like a card to fill in what credit card I use, card number with "The Security Code", the exp. date, the cardholder name, an amount I should put in, but don't trust it not to be changed, "My Signature" which I never give out on a fill in Credit card payment because I "Never-Ever" "Sign" anything where I am not standing with a "Real" person standing there at the Store or Place I am doing business with. They also had a place on the "Return Form" having you check what plan you want: "No. 1 - The Lump sum amount"; "No. 2 - payment of Settlement offer to pay 50% ($979.77), paid over "2 Months"; "No. 3 - payment for the full original amount of $1,959.50, which would be paid out in 12 payment of $163.30". After checking which plan, you were to enter "Monthly" with no place to state this was to be paid monthly so you couldn't trust if they were doing the "Original Amount" check on the "picked" plan or any old time they would quit taking out the "payment"!!!!  Please be weary of this company and its' affiliates. They smell like a Carp that has been sitting on the beach where it was caught and left long enough to rot .
