Ace Air contacted me to offer a special they were running to come out and service my 2 AC units for 19.95 per unit, I would also receive a FREE washable filter per inspection service. Skylar had shown up at myhome which I was not living in yet and had just purchased. He immediately told me that I had some areas of concern on my units, and that I really need to purchase a maintanance plan for 3 years for over 800.00 I declined and he explained that my motors were about to go and that I also needed a new contactor for one of my units. He also mentioned because I have a home warranty which I had just bought that my coils were very dirty and needed to be cleaned with a special solution which would cost me 125.00 per unit, He told me if the warranty company were to come outand see that they would VOID my warranty so at the very minimum I needed to let him clean my coils.
So I allowed him to clean them which took no more than 10 minutes to do, I paid him with a check and he was on his way. I the very next day called my warranty company and told them of the findings and they were out a week to the day later.
he also wanted to know why Ihad spent over 300.00 what did they do?? I told them that they cleaned my coils and he noted that they absoulutely did not clean them they were filthy and mud and debris came out.
I then the very next day called 3 times asking for a manager abd rtaled to 3 different girls, Brittany is the only name I can remember but did not get as return call from a Becky (OM)
After many calls I finally was put through to Becky and was told that I needed to fax over the receipt that I received from Leading Edge AC
I did the very next day and called 2 hours later to confirm receipt and was told that Becky had not checked her faxes but would call me later which I never received a call.
The next day I called again she then claimed she never received it which I had a confirmation page that stated it was received.
I resent it and she finally acknowledged receipt and would get back with me no later than first thing in the morning. Well that time came and went and by 4:30 in the afternoon I called once again to be conferenced called with a Service manager which I cant remember his name and Becky After reviewing my faxes he basically didnt believe me and that he would not refund me my money . I proceeded to tell him that I request a full refund and the only thing he wanted to do was send out a service tech and have them inspect the coils. Well the other company actually had rinsed them out showing me how dirty they were and that he felt I should report the technician and get my money back looks like small claims court and the news stations might be in order. They refuse to refund me the money and I dont want them on my property they are not trustworthy based on the 101 complaints they have with the BBB
