Complaint Review: Cool K9's Dog Training

This is yet another libelous attack against myself and my company, made by the same individual, Brandon Ferguson/Jose Ramirez( both aliases, and people that we have no record of) now Chris Ferguson (again, we have no record of this person).  Notice the dates of the two complaints - not a coincidence.  My first rebuttle does not address the one supposedly posted on March 3, which I find interesting, since I would have addressed that one in my first rebuttle.  

I must stress again that these are all aliases, and the allegations are untrue, including the personal attacks.  See my first rebuttle to BrandFerg.  This individual has also set up a Google page, using my company name, and have posted the identical reviews.  This is criminal!  I would truly like to know who this person is, as these vicious accusations are being written and posted annonymously, which is the work of a coward.

Hi my name is Sarah and I have now taken 3 dogs to Cool K9s and would never go elsewhere.  We have a corgi we started with who is a rescue with dog aggression especially towards other females and after working with Jim and wife Bianca, she has been very happy with our rottie schnauzer mix Harley for three yrs now. 

After taking both through training we can take them to the dog park and Dixie does great with other dogs and I can trust she will behave when this would never have been possible before working with Cool K9s. Yes we use a prong collar on both dogs but no we do not hurt them never have they yelped and always use positive reinforcement. It is a tool nothing more. It is the owner who makes it positive or negative for the dog.

Currently I am working on training my 9 month old chiwinnie for service dog and just as expected amazing results early on. Yes I do drive to their location for one on one private sessions for this particular training. Yet never have I been charged 90 per session. Even now. The property is always clean, the dogs well behaved, sessions start on time,  we train hard and have fun.  So after coming to the same trainer for 6 years now for quite an assortment of issues and never a complaint, I find it laughable the false claims they would approve of animal abuse or have ill mannered dogs, unclean property, ect. When taking our dogs out often we are asked how we trained them to do something and pass out Cool K9s number like candy. I love Jim and Blanca my dogs go no where else but here. I have a question or concern, even if it's on me not the dogs but how I can better myself as a trainer, I call  only them.

I agree with the other reviewer. Do not take your dogs here. He teaches you to hurt your dog. He tells you to put a prong collar on your dog and told me when my dog does something I don't want him to do to "yank his f******* head off". He said if your dog doesn't cry or yelp, you're not doing it hard enough.

I believe in positive reinforcement training. You can google it or treat training to learn how. Please don't abuse your dog for the sake of training. Look at your puppy or dog and imagine hurting him/her, that is what Cool K9s teaches you to do.

As my title says, this is borderline animal abuse, I for one won't be using his "techniques" to hurt train my dog.

It appears Jim doesn't know how to take critisism so let the blasting begin, but everybody is entitled to thier opinion. 

My name is Jim Beinlich, trainer and owner of Cool K9's Dog Training, here to set the record straight regarding BrandFerg, a.k.a. Jose Ramirez, which is the alias he used when he posted disparaging accusations on our Cool K9's Dog Training facebook page (which is open to the public for perusal and posting comments.  You can also link to that page from our website, www.coolk9s.com). This was at the beginning of December, 2013.  

I immediately responded, addressing his statements, and that we had no record of him as a client, asking him when he trained with us, his dog's name, anything to identify him.  Customer satisfaction is our number one priority, and I wanted to resolve this asap.  Going to his FB page, there was only a wolf head for his profile picture, and his name.  Obviously a bogus page. I left his post up, as we are strong believers in transparency, and our clients responded to his false accusations en mass.  

The main complaint he listed was that it took me several times to call my dogs using the "Come" command.  Firstly, my dogs always come on the first command.  Secondly, we use German commands, so "Hier" is their come command.  As for the cost, clients save $20 if they prepay for a 4-pack of private sessions, and I do paperwork and collect monies at the end of the session.  So if this person was not happy, he could have just paid for the session and been done, raising more suspicions.

I sent Jose a private message (see below) after several client responses to his post, and signing up two new clients because of it.  No response, until the morning of February 22, 2014.  He posted at the end of his thread, now attacking my education and our property. My wife responded, basically telling him to go away and to get a life.  He did, taking down his post and his FB page, but not before sending me the following two private messages.  Please note the dates on all three:

  by the way, surely you must realize how stupid your music posts look? some old fat guy that thinks he is talented.

  So now he is posting here, under another alias, and making more false statements, in addition to attacking me personally.  For the record, I have a Bachellor's degree in Psychology, five Commander's Coins for my work with various K-9 units, and literally thousands of dogs successfully trained over the last 25 years.  As for our property, the front yard (approximately an acre) looks like a city park, with dozens of trees, grass, and a pond.  I do "poop patrol" regularly, to ensure that the training area is clear. And though the house is a modular, you would never guess that by looking at it.

  And just to be 100% thorough, the music video that I posted is the first song that I ever wrote, and the guitar that I am playing is a hand-made custom guitar that I swapped for dog training.  I have no delusions about my lack of talent, as BrandFerg suggests, it's just fun to play onstage.

  In conclusion, we still do not know who this individual is, and have no way of finding out.  I apologize to readers and Ripoff Report for the profanity in his statement, but I copied it directly from my page.  Given the lengths that this person has gone to trying to ruin our reputation, all of which I have refuted with verifiable facts,  I hope that companies such as Ripoff Report will flag this individual, and inform me if this happens again.  I encourage everyone to look up my name and our company name - you will find the truth, and you will have fun doing it!
