Peter,

I received my Shipment sales ref 16139. The NK1400POLY Nokia cell battery is very lightweight, slim and appears to be labeled correctly.

The NK33POLYMERB I ordered for my Nokia 3360 is mislabeled as
mentioned below and seems to be the wrong battery (is it a 900mAh NiMH?) because it's twice as thick and it's heavy unlike the Poly battery I received for my other phone. The free charger with my order works.

Please ship the correct poly battery with the correct label as I
initially ordered.

I have to admit, I'm a little skeptical about this deal. Shipping mislabeled products is a real no,no. I hope I can put in a favorable writeup in eopinions.com and other consumer sites for "CoolBatteries.com"

Thanks,

Tad

Dear Customer:

Thank you for your recent order with Coolbattery.com. We have found a potential problem with the item that was shipped. Regarding one of the items we shipped your, Ultra Life LI-POLYMER 1250mah Battery for Nokia 3310/3360/3390, + FREE 33XX Dual Charger.

There is no problem with the free charger, but with the battery you ordered, we have found that they were mislabeled by the manufacturer. Instead of being labeled as"polymer" battery, it was labeled as "lithium-ion."

You may or may not have this problem, as it seems that this mislabeling only happened in a few batteries. As unconvincing as it may sound, lithium ion cells of that capacity does not fit into a battery cell that small.

We verified by cracking open a few cells to make sure. So when you receive your order (if not already), please double check by using the battery 1-2
times and comparing the talk/standby time with the old ni-mh battery you own. If you do not think the battery is polymer, you are more than welcome to send the battery back for evaluation, just e-mail me with instructions.

This is like shipping an IBM computer in a MAC box. Other than that, if you have any further questions, feel free to contact me. Thanks for your order, and sorry for the inconvenience.

Conclusion:

"If you do not think the battery is polymer, you are more than welcome to send the battery back for evaluation...." is pure bologna and a ripoff.

Coolbattery has not responded to any of my emails.
