Complaint Review: Cooperstown Stay

BEWARE of Cooperstown Stay rented our family an apartment for our 12 year son to play baseball at the Cooperstown Dreams Park July 31st - Aug.s 7th, 2015th.  The Cooperstown Stay and Lonetta the real estate agent told us we would get our refundable deposit back.

 The owners Peter & Kristen French are very picky to say the least and placed blame on our family for small things that you would expect to see when you are on vacation and renting a place.  We did nothing to the apt. but Peter French keeps our refundable deposit of $200 for items that were already damaged in the apartment just to collect extra money.  

We already overpaid compared to any other apt. in the area and then to blame us for not vacuuming the carpet is over the top picky as no person who is vacationing should ever have to vacuum and the accuses were for simple items just to keep our money.

Peter French is not a good business person in the fact he will take advantage of your family and don't believe anything Lonetta with COOPERSTOWN STAY says about her rentals.  Peter & Kristen French are always on the porch watching every move and you have no privacy, stay clear of this house ..

It states on the first page of the website REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT...of which we receiveing ZERO back.  Peter French made up stories about the floor and other items just to keep our money.

LONETTA with COOPERSTOWN STAY will not return emails regarding the apartment we rented and her company is the business we rented from and therefore should accomodate us with giving at least our deposit back when they state this on their website of Cooperstown STAY.

BEWARE and look else where....   DON'T BE SOLD on their scams
