Last year, the product was introduced called Copa. It is a natural hair care product that relaxes the hair without chemicals. I received my first shipment from the infomercial and that was fine. A month or so later, I called in to sign up for the maintenance program where they would automatically send the product out to me and charge my account. Well, they charged my account but I never received the product.

Over the past 6 months, I have called their customer service center, emailed through the website, and ordered from the website but no one has contacted me. I don't think there is THAT much backlog in the world and they seem to be getting money from somewhere since thier website (www.copahair.com) has been updated recently.

I was pleased with the way the product relaxed my hair but now since I have not been able to GET any of the product, I may have to start all over again with the expensive intro package when they should have been sending me the maintenance kits that costs much less. It really bothers me that they have infomercials on all the time and have upgraded their website but I STILL cannot get them to respond to me.

If anyone knows how I can get them to at least call me back or something, please feel free to reach me.

This company is in no way associated with the makers of Rio and their product is in no way like Rio. It extremely mild on the hair and scalp. It will not straighten nor break down your hair like a no-lye/professional perm, but neither will it burn or over-process it.

I had no problem getting the starter package nor with getting the monthly treatments. This was EXTREMELY important to me as I am stationed overseas in S.Korea. I have limited options on this peninsula and it have to be certain that what I get over the internet and on the phone will get here. There is a thirteen hour time difference between myself and New Jersey, and I don't have time or money to be playing 'phone tag' with some company over getting their product to me. I was totally satified and plan on going back to COPA due to my frustration with overprocessing my hair with no-lye relaxers. COPA is right for me.

Rebuttal:

I have oreder that same product. I too was satisfied with the results fornmy daughter. However I have never experienced the problem you have. When I call(though not a toll free number). I got immediate results. I needed to cancel my monthly shipments, for financial reasons. They canceled my order and credited my account. I plan on oredering it again.
